Project Overview
The Moura project could be considered as close to a 'textbook' example of a successfully completed Dymaxion® drilling project utlising the skills of Mitchell Directional Drilling’s peerless steerers.
The goal of the drilling was the degasification for the future workings of the Anglo Coal Moura mine, and increase production to their compressor station which feeds the Queensland Pipeline and a nearby fertiliser plant.
Initially, Mitchell Drilling were employed to undertake a 37 well directional drilling program with the project including the supply of rigs, equipment, and specialist support staff.
The key personnel in the success of this complex project were Mitchell Directional Drilling's steering operators who delivered this project with a resulting economic return to our client that our directional drilling service has become renowned for.
